Materials List

BRUSHES – Filberts (Bristle) #3, #4, #6, #10, #12
MEDIUM – Maroger * (Preferred); Copal; or Stand Oil and Gum Turp
SURFACE – Gessoed masonite, sanded smooth. Commercial canvas with extra
cost of white lead (Flake White) applied to fill in “holes” (interstices) of canvas to
achieve smooth surface. Apply with palette knife and remove excess with same.
Wait two weeks to dry before using.

CANVAS – Bring 3 to 5 canvases.
 Bring some still life items if you wish. FCFAS has easels, palette tables and lights. We also have lights, however, some people prefer daylight bulbs.
 
*Please remember to properly dispose of all perishables at the end of the workshop.
