Drawing Classes with Albert Rose
Albert Rose is a lifelong artist drawn to classical expression. He works in the style of the 19th Century Boston School, specializing in portrait, figures, and still-life in oil and graphite pencil. Mr. Rose is also dedicated promoting the traditions and knowledge of the classical style through research and teaching. Formerly at his Everett, Washington studio Atelier Rose and currently at the Whidbey Island Fine Art Studio in Langley, WA.
His specialties include portraits, figures and still life produced in oils, charcoal, or pencil. Over the years, he has won numerous awards at exhibitions and shows in the Northwest. Much of his work is preserved in private collections. He has over 20 years of teaching experience and is an accomplished photographer, graphic designer, and typographer.
He is a graduate of the Burnley School of Art in Seattle and Atelier Lack in Minneapolis.

Drawing Fundamentals
Cost: $150 for four classes or individual classes $40 per 3-hour session
Dates: February 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd
Time: Wednesday mornings from 10am to 1pm
Skill Level: All skill levels

Note: These are classical/skill-oriented classes. Materials will be discussed at first class.
The intent of these classes is to provide students the opportunity to continue honing their skills. Our purpose is to provide a healthy foundation and ongong support. New Students always welcome!
Students coming in with experience and a more advanced level, can continue at their own pace. The class is small and personal and Albert will help each student at their skill level.
